There’s always something new to learn when it comes to web design. New style trends, emerging typography, out-of-this-world creatives – all of it is support exciting to observe and apply. But, we must keep in mind that a website is not a piece of art. It is a marketing engine on a mission. And that mission is to help you run and grow your business.

We all want a website that converts. So we tent do focus our efforts on boosting the conversion tactics and implementing new techniques thinking that adding another button or adding an extra paragraph of SEO-pumped copy will get us to our goal.

But do we ever take a moment to look at our website? Really look at it? What do you see? Now think about this… What do your visitors see? Can they easily read and find the essential information they need to make a decision to buy, sign-up or engage with you? Do they quickly leave your website feeling overwhelmed by the cluttered mess of text, moving images and blinking buttons?

Most people underestimate or don’t even know how web design is a mix of art and science. While chasing the latest design trends is exciting, there are true and tried design principles and psychological aspects that make a good website better and get you the results you crave and deserve.
